Bandit Clark aka The Little Cow
by Tonya Clark
Bandit had just snuggled in on top of Sadie and 2 min after I took this picture... they were out like a light
Bandit came to be a part of our family from a tiny rescue in the-middle-of-no-where, South Carolina. He was about 16 weeks old and because he is a Chihuahua and the number of people in and out at the rescue he was very skiddish of people... even us! It took a while to build his trust, but after he did our little comedian came to life. Bandit is #3 of our canine family and those who have dogs know that each one has his or her own personilty and our 3 interact just like human siblings would. Bandit is the baby and acts just like a bothersome little brother would by trying to get big brother and sister to play with him. Once he gets them to chase him our house turns into a NASCAR track. He likes sleeping with his big sister but doesn't always cuddle with her in the "normal" way. Instead he likes to wait for her to get settled and he climbs on her back, sits there for a while and then finally settles down and sleeps on top of her. He also loves to play by himself with little tennis balls. Once he has ripped the felt enough to carry it by that little strip he will flip it up and then go chase... no need for mom to throw it for him. He cracks us up when he can't find the ball he just flipped up... he just runs around and checks all the normal spots like under th couch. Bandit loves taking pictures and likes to pose. If he is not sitting down he will always raise one of his front paws. It is so cute. But I think the thing that cracks people up the most is his ears. They are so much bigger than he will ever grow into. There isn't a day that we don't laugh at him for one reason or another.
