What I've Learned about Pet Food can Save Your Dog's Life

The Key to Your Dog's Health is in His Genes

Due to technical issues, this email might not have reached you yesterday, so I am resending as it is very important!

Did you know researchers estimate that only 5 to 10% of all cancer cases originate from genetic predisposition, while 90 to 95% are the result of lifestyle and environmental factors? Moreover, certain foods can literally “starve” tumor cells of the nutrients they need to grow and turn dangerous.

Hi. This is Diana from the Web site The Happy Dog Spot. For the past three years, I have been researching and writing a groundbreaking canine nutrition book that will be out later this year from DogWise Publishing called "Canine Nutrigenomics: The New Science of Feeding Your Dog for Optimum Health." And what I have learned will amaze you.

Nutrigenomics is the study of how the foods we eat literally communicate with our genes and cause them to turn “on” (activate) or turn “off” (suppress). This process, known as gene expression, plays a huge role in determining whether your dog (or you) will live a life of vibrant health, or one plagued by chronic illness. We now know that while we can’t change the genes we are born with, we can change how those genes behave.

I am super excited to tell you that I will soon be launching the Web site Pet Food Diva, the long-awaited resource for all of the cutting-edge nutrition information you need to feed your dog (and cat) for optimum cellular health.

And here's where you come in. I'd like you to help shape the content of Pet Food Diva. I'd like you to contact me and send me ideas for blog posts, Webinars and other educational resources. Basically, I want to know what frustrates you most about your pet's nutrition and the pet food industry, and what you would most like to learn.

I will send you another note when Pet Food Diva goes live, but in the meantime please feel free to contact me with your pet nutrition questions and concerns.

Together, we WILL slash pet obesity and chronic illness, one pet at a time.

Thank you!
